John Lundin (www.JohnLundin.com) is the author of THE NEW MANDALA – Eastern Wisdom for Western Living, written in collaboration with His Holiness the Dalai Lama, and JOURNEY TO THE HEART OF THE WORLD, written with the indigenous elders of la Sierra Nevada de Santa Marta in Colombia. John earned his Master of Divinity degree from Chicago Theological Seminary at the University of Chicago and was ordained by the United Church of Christ. (U.C.C.). He has served as a parish minister, hospital chaplain and pastoral counselor, and has studied with the Dalai Lama in India and with the Kogi and Arhuaco in Colombia. He now teaches world religions and cross-cultural spirituality and leads workshops and retreats focusing on meditation and spiritual growth. He is also an environmental and clean energy activist. John currently lives in Colombia where he has lived for six years while researching and writing an important new book sharing the spiritual and environmental message of the Kogi and Arhuaco, indigenous peoples who have changed their ways little since the arrival of Columbus five hundred years ago. Lundin's teachings emphasize the connectedness of all spiritual traditions and he seeks to help participants in finding spiritual wisdom from multiple traditions that can inform their own personal spiritual journey.
